  • So we are on way way out of The European Union

The option to Vote has now driven us out of The Union.

We now have to take the advantage and not carry on blaming ourselves or others. It was a shock the way it went BUT GET OVER IT.

The European Union is an organisation that tries to represent Europe.
It is now nervous that a country has dared to take control of themselves.

It will not be easy to deal with them because they want us to fail.
We will not fail and maybe others will split away. That is their biggest fear.

Northern Ireland now needs to be used as a trade Area to negotiate with Europeans direct.Taking advantage of its doorstep location with Southern Ireland. The UK needs to lower corporation rates to be the same as Ireland. This will be an advantage for all business.

We need to create a small coordinating and marketing organisation and use CBI and Group Trading organisations to promote Great Britain. The commonwealth needs to be a bigger part of our trade. Our main objective must be to trade globally.
The social legislation and general laws need to be rewritten and but back into British Law. Maybe a 5 year project. There is going to be lots to sort. In the meantime we can still use Modified European Law and call it that.

  • The hedge at No62 Huntingdon Road Wyton is overgrown on the foortpath., 14th July
It's difficult to pass. The path is already narrow and this hedge is taking up more space. It's even worse if a car is parked on the road next to it. I've had to walk in the road with my children and pushchair. The house next door keeps the hedge trimmed but this one along with the garden is very overgrown and a eyesore
Nearest road to the pin placed on the map (automatically generated by Bing Maps): 1 Rhymers Gate, Wyton

  • 30 MPH speed limit and cars and bikes facing through at over 80mph with neighbours trying to cross with their children, 9th July
Our village will is a 30mph limit and we have cars and bikes going through at over 80mph when my nighbours try to cross the road when th their children. This seems to have gotten worse since the council removed the electronic speed limit which lit up when you went through it over the limit. Something has to be done before a child is killed as the houses on the street are very close to the road with very little driveway.
Nearest road to the pin placed on the map (automatically generated by Bing Maps): 29 High Street, Tilbrook
    Report on FixMyStreet
  • Grass verges not maintained along footpath, 5th July
Grass is usually maintained on the verges along this footpath along the old railway line in Chatteris, but hasn't been touched for ages. Can this be maintained to enable people to enjoy their walks along here once
Nearest road to the pin placed on the map (automatically generated by Bing Maps): 117 Huntingdon Road, Chatteris

  • Builders causing noise and obstruction, 5th July
'Erection Specialists' have put up scaffolding and, aside from shouting to each other non-stop so loudly that we can hear them from more than 15 metres down the road, across the street and in the back garden, they are also parking their trucks on either side of the road, at times effectively making it a one-lane street and causing a succession of traffic problems.
Nearest road to the pin placed on the map (automatically generated by Bing Maps): 31 Devonshire Road, Cambridge
    Report on FixMyStreet
  • Broken water inspection cover, 3rd July
This broken inspection cover has "WATER" marked on it. It is located just outside the school gates on the road leading off Church Lane that runs along side the school down to the pedestrian gate into the church yard. A small child or dog could catch their foot in it. We have put the spray paint marking around to alert pedestrians of the danger.

Nearest road to the pin placed on the map (automatically generated by Bing Maps): 3 Church Lane, Linton
    Report on FixMyStreet

  • Road floods during heavy rain - drainage issues., 30th June
For the last six years, every time there is heavy rain, the section of School Lane opposite stony lane floods completely. The drain on the eastern side can't cope and the one on the west side doesn't seem to work well either.

Nearest road to the pin placed on the map (automatically generated by Bing Maps): 30 School Lane, Toft
    Report on FixMyStreet
  • Contraflow cycle lane flooded., 27th June
I've noticed that this has happens before and it's clear nothing's been done to clear the drains yet. As you can see, all the (contraflow) cycle lane is flooded and given that this is a busy road with loads of buses using it, it's almost impossible for them to avoid the water. I have reported it on the County Council's website too.

  • Bramble bushes encroaching into the pedestrian access footpath between Jennings Avenue and Barford Road., 26th June
It is not now possible to access with a wheelchair or baby buggy due to the amount of growth and danger of injury from the brambles. This issue is re-occurring every couple of years.
